Whilst times have moved forward since this was written, at the time of writing, ICT provision of any kind, including websites, was in its infancy in the cultural sector and so the research represented a key area for consideration in the future development of digital strategies for heritage developments.

Though this document focuses on online development it also looks at practicalities of integrated strategy, management and sustainability and is issued as an appendix to illustrate our strategic and practical approach to developing strategic, sustainable and manageable digital assets.
